Samsung requested for us to design numerous emails for various campaigns throughout several months. After designing hundreds of emails, we helped Samsung find improved ways to connect better with their customers through their emails.

Experience Designer @ Ogilvy. Worked with a Senior Designer, Strategist, and Copywriter. Alternated with Senior Designer on who takes the lead in design based on campaign briefs

Previous Emails

Samsung's past emails had a tendency to be pretty overwhelming, with numerous products crammed into a singular email and each paired with paragraph-long copy.

Our Emails

Our overall goal with these emails was to provide more engaging visuals and less overload of copy. Although there were little to no brand guidelines for us to use, we created some internally, such as how the buttons look and how certain modules should be laid out.

Process Along the Way

Due to the fast-paced nature, it became clear quickly that we needed a succinct way to organize our reviews and deliverables. Our solution was a Figma prototype following this general flow:

Results

Across the 125 campaigns created during our contract with Samsung, we've increased the overall effectiveness and performance, even exceeding two out of three benchmarks.
